Employment Information

The person in this position works with the Founder, President, and Chairman of the Board: Lee Pulver. 

At this preliminary stage,  Lee Pulver wants an organized, self-motivated person to perform diverse administrative activities to ensure the smooth operation of the systems within the organization.

When submitting resume or CV, include a writing sample.

  • review and facilitate writing business correspondence, technical reports, and office memoranda using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • answer telephone enquiries from customers, attend to visitors, and assist staff with their enquiries.
  • operate a range of office equipment including scanners, computers, printers, copiers.
  • file documentation so it can be found easily when needed (although 99% filed electronically).
  • undertake responsibilities such as computerized shipping and receiving, data systems back up, Quality Assurance for written documentation.
  • sort and distribute incoming mail; dispatch outgoing mail and courier shipments.
  • The person in this position may work alone or in a team situation with professional staff, technical staff, Engineering Assistants, and customers.  After learning our documented systems and procedures, more complex tasks and responsibilities avail themselves, such as becoming an integral part of a team that deals with the "hardware that humans have not seen yet", and may help create product evaluation reports covering topics such as

  • Electrostatic Discharge;

  • Electrical Fast Transients;

  • Product Safety;

  • Radio Frequency Interference;

  • Electromagnetic Compatibility;

  • Risk Analysis; and

  • Environmental, Health, and Safety.

  • perfected interpersonal skills.

  • aptitude for working with computers.

  • exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English).

  • ability to work methodically, accurately, and neatly.

  • demonstrated proficiency and associated ability to

     

    • manage time effectively; and

    • prioritize multiple projects

 

  • Prefer 4 year college degree: English or Business Administration; or degree in process: prefer at least 3.0 GPA.

  • Prefer 2+ years office experience.

  • proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • able to learn our systems and talk to our clients.
